It is an atrocity to round people up and put them in concentration camps. ICE is the modern gestapo, and I implore the people working as ICE agents to find a different job.

It's an atrocity to use a nation's military against its own people and call for the death of those simply asking the armed forces to follow the oath they took and the law that governs them, then force the people to pay for their own abuse with the taxes taken from their income; especially under the guise of "crime control" when crime has been falling. 

It's an atrocity to lie to an entire nation of people with the intention of control and domination and make them pay for it while you steal from them by cutting life supporting benefits and pocketing it.

It's an atrocity to erase history from museums because you don't like how it depicts the enslavement of Africans or genocide of the indigenous people of North America by the United States.

We remember so we don't repeat it. We remember in order to honor those whose lives were stolen.

We remember in order to honor their descendants.
